EP News

So Eclipse Phase is off to layout. In fact, about half the book is laid out already, and we're starting on the proofread. The art has also been rolling in, so we'll get some previews of that posted soon!

We have a bunch of things to catch up with in the next few weeks, and here's one: Part 3 of the interview we gave about Eclipse Phase at GenCon to the folks at BlueAlien.org.

Part 2 of the interview we did with BlueAlien.org at GenCon is now online. Part 3 comes next week.

We have a major in-house deadline for EP looming on the horizon, so all of our efforts are going towards making that happen. Next week we'll be back on track with the blog posts and will also be catching up on any questions still unanswered in the forums.

We did an interview with the folks at bluealien.org during GenCon, and they've just posted the first part (transcribed) online.

Some of our German friends helped to promote Eclipse Phase at RatCon in Essen Dortmund last weekend. Pictured above are Tobias Wolter, Heiko Oertel, Lars Blumenstein, and Klaus Scherwinski. We even got a bit of press (in German) from it. Thanks guys!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth or sat down for a demo this past weekend.  We all had a blast getting to meet you and talk about the game to new and interested people. 

The response to the game was awesome, it seemed like nearly everyone we talked to about it was excited to have a chance to play it and impressed with what we had on display.

In case you missed it the big news was the announcement that the game itself will be out early 2009 and that the partial reason for the delay is that we're been given the go-ahead to do the core book in full color.  Yes that means you'll have to wait a bit long, but it also means you'll get to see more of the EP universe in vibrant colors. 

So again thanks to everyone who came out, played a game, got a t-shirt or a poster, or who just asked questions.   We hope to see more of you in the future!

Hello, and welcome to the still-not-public Eclipse Phase blog. Eclipse Phase is a new tabletop roleplaying game of transhuman conspiracy and horror, produced by Posthuman Studios and published by Catalyst Game Labs. The game is still in the final writing/editing/playtesting stage, but will release later in 2008.
