Is the Eclipse Phase soundtrack actually Creative Commons?

They are under this statement: "Infinite & Indivisible is available under the Creative Commons Attribution- Noncommercial-Share Alike 4.0 License." Yet they are being sold.

If they are under the Creative Commons licences why they can't be acquired for free?

The tracks are indeed under s

The tracks are indeed under s Creative Commons License but just because it's CC doesn't mean that it will be release for free, just that it can be distributed and used for non-commercial purposes. I'm not sure what the agreement with Scott Fox is but they're excellent pieces and definitely worth the money to purchase.

(Of course I'd recommend going onto Bandcamp and picking them up as you'll get the FLAC versions, but YMMV: https://posthumanstudios.bandcamp.com/album/infinite-indivisible-ft-scott-fox)

We sell (almost) all of our electronic releases. That's one of the ways we make money so we can keep doing these things!

Anyone is free to distribute/redistribute/modify our CC-licensed stuff under the terms of the license. We don't watermark or otherwise personalize electronic purchases.
