Questions about time dilation names

Time slowdown is the term for when you speed up your thinking. This can be used in order to get 1 minute of activity in a single second.

Time acceleration is the term for when you slow down your thinking. Good for moments when you want a long travel time to a destination seem short.

Why is speeding up your thinking called slowdown, and why is slowing down your thinking called acceleration? I think it should be the other way around. Could someone explain this to me?

I've always taken them

I've always taken them subjectively, so, from the perspective of the person adjusting their thinking speed the thing that changes observably is the speed of the universe surrounding them.

Thus speeding up my thoughts will look _to_me_ like the universe is slowing down around me and vice versa.
