Eclipse Phase PDF "Catalyst/BattleShop Amnesty Program"

If you have purchased a PDF version of any Eclipse Phase title from Catalyst Game Labs’ BattleShop, please be aware that they are no longer selling our PDFs, nor are they able to provide updates to them.

Therefore: We want to hook you up with an updated (and future-updated!) copy with our electronic partners, OneBookShelf (DriveThruRPG/RPGNow), free of charge, with as little hassle as possible. We just updated the PDFs within the last 48 hours, adding layers to the core book PDF and to some of the PDFs in the GM Screen packages as well. We want you to have these PDFs!

To claim your copy: Email us at adam@posthumanstudios.com with a copy of your BattleShop receipt for the PDFs/combos in question. If you didn’t save the email receipt, you can log into the BattleShop and then visit the following the URL:https://www.battlecorps.com/catalog/account_history.php -- at this point, click on the “View” button for the specific Eclipse Phase-related orders. You can either use the “Save As” function of your browser and email us the HTML file, take a screenshot and send us that, or cut and paste the relevant bits (Order number, product name) into the email. We’re flexible: all we want to know is that you made the purchase. If you already have an account on DriveThruRPG/RPGNow, please let us know which email address you use for that account so we can send your coupon to the right address (it will be easiest if you email us FROM that address, please!)

You qualify for this offer if you purchased:

  • Eclipse Phase PDF
  • Eclipse Phase PDF and Print Combo
  • Eclipse Phase Gamemaster Screen/Glory PDF
  • Eclipse Phase Gamemaster Screen/Glory PDF Hack Pack

We will: Send you a 100% off coupon for the exact titles you bought. These coupons will be manually processed by us, so please allow 48-72 hours for that (I'll actually be travelling from May 10th to the 17th, but I should be online regularly.)

Eclipse Phase Nominated for Grog d’Or

Eclipse Phase is one of the twelve nominees for this year\'s Grog d\'Or (Golden Grog) award. The award is chosen by the folks behind the Guide du Roliste Galactique, with the nominees coming from the games chosen for their website\'s game of the month (EP was the October 2009 choice). The list of nominees is:

You can find more info on the nominees here. We\'re in very good company, so the competition is tough! The results of the election will be known on May 8th, 2010.

It\'s an honor to be nominated, so thanks for the folks who supported us!

Eclipse Phase Leaving Catalyst

As noted earlier today on the Catalyst site, we are in negotiations to sever the licensing agreement between Catalyst Game Labs and Posthuman Studios. Here's what Catalyst had to say:

Catalyst Game Labs Negotiating To Part Ways With WildFire And Posthuman Studios

Catalyst Game Labs is currently engaged in negotiations to end its agreements with WildFire and Posthuman Studios. Once the terms are finalized, Catalyst will no longer publish CthulhuTech or Poo: The Card Game for WildFire, nor will they co develop and publish Eclipse Phase for Posthuman Studios.

“It’s been fantastic to be involved with growing CthulhuTech alongside WildFire, while also launching Posthuman Studios’ Eclipse Phase,” said Randall Bills, Managing Developer. “We love both of these universes and want to seem them grow and flourish. However, in our current situation we need to re-focus on our core brands of BattleTech and Shadowrun, while developing our original games. As such, while we are parting ways with both companies, we’ll be doing everything we can to support WildFire and Posthuman Studios as they assume the full mantle for their
game lines.”

Future details surrounding CthulhuTech will be found at cthulhutech.com, while future Eclipse Phase details will be found at eclipsephase.com.

What this means is that in the very near future the Eclipse Phase IP will be back fully in the control of Posthuman Studios. We are already talking to several potential publishing partners, and our goal is to get both the Eclipse Phase Core Rulebook reprint and the EP Gamemaster Pack into distribution as soon as possible, followed soon after by Sunward.

Unfortunately we won't have any solid information on release dates until this matter is completely resolved. We'll be sure to post that information here once we know. Thanks to all of our fans for their patience and continued support!
